This is a smallish store (by US standards) but has a very wide variety of household products. I agree with a previous reviewer who describes it as an old fashioned hardware store. I ended up finding the cable ties that I needed, after searching many other stores. The staff was helpful and directed me to the product I needed. I will keep it in mind as I did not know about it before.

A very useful place selling every conceivable kind of homeware, electricals and other miscellany. It’s a bit cramped, and it is a little annoying that everyday things like lightbulbs are kept in the basement rather than nearer the entrance, but this is still an indispensible shop for nearly every household requirement.

The Robert Dyas in Oxford is really good.
The staff are really friendly and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble for them.
The shop has a huge range of household products, things that you wouldnt find anywhere else and wouldnt begin to know where to look for them if Robert Dyas didnt exist! A bit like an old-​fashioned hardware store.
And their range of cupcake-​themed products is brilliant, a wide selection and the most reasonably priced!
