Otley Apocethary

This is one of those quirky herbal health food stores that offer all manner of minerals, vitamins, and herby medicinals that supposedly improve your skin, hair, and general health.
Quite a lot of these places are ultra-​trendy and modern and a little bit pretentious, but the Apocethary in Otley is anything but — it almost feels like a medieval health store — in an old building, with some expert staff and shelves full of health stuffs (some of which work, I reckon, and some of which don’t), it actually has quite a unique feeling about it.
I’d recommend it over the supermarket opposite for pharmaceuticals, but when you step through the door, you might just feel like you’re stepping back in time.
