Whilst the bar and restaurant are warm and welcoming, and the staff the same, i Was a little disappointed with the food. The menu is very extensive, and caters for most tastes. I ordered herb crusted fillet of cod, expecting a fairly light meal for that time of the evening, but it was presented ‘swimming’ in a very thick white wine sauce, which I thought ruined it. Also, my wife ordered a sirloin steak cooked medium, which was more well done. It’s unfortunate the food was disappointing because the rest of the experience was pretty good.

A family orientated pub and restaurant. Good for family meals out, especially around Christmas. Good food, and reasonably priced.
