Had a lovely meal here great offers 5 corse for £10 95 Sunday through to Friday, I had a popadom, mixed kebabs followed by chicken balti with vegetable tamarin rice, I didn’t have the tea or coffee, part of the deal, the staff are very friendly and always make time for a chat, they also do take away food and home deliver.

Came to voujon on a Tuesday night at 6.30pm with my family as a last minute «let’s go for a local Indian meal» sort of suggestion. I last ate here four years ago so couldn’t even remember what I had to eat, however seeing as chicken tikka masala is my staple, it isn’t hard to guess.
This time I changed my usual order to a prawn bhuna– a little bit healthier with it being January and all. Didn’t stop me ordering veg samosas and naan bread though
My dad and sister both got more unusual curries from the specials — one with meatballs, and one with chicken and strip of potato. The chicken one had a real unusual smokey taste which was so unusual for an Indian meal, but it was delicious! Quite a unique dish.
My prawn bhuna was lovely– a huge portion and full of taste. Not much spice, but I knew this when I ordered it due to the spice rating they feature.
The interior is that of a classic family fan Indian– print décor walls and carpet, but I’d also filled with fish tanks which is quite a nice addition!
Affordable and good good with a friendly ambiance and was fairly busy for the first tues in January. A lovely little local place.
Only downfall is no parking — I drove Rlund twice before finally finding a space on an abandoned piece of pavement across the road
