Consistently good food and service at reasonable prices. Yes, it is a little old-​fashioned, and all the better for that comfortably furnished so you can have a conversation without having to shout and strain to listen. It’s the standard by which we rate all other Indian restaurants.
Incidentally the Sagor is on Lees Road, Oldham not in Lees itself.

great place. We used to go here about 10 years ago and basically wondered off to more modern places. We decided to give this place another go and it was fantastic. Still old fashioned but starters and mains were lovely. Forget flash modern places with plasma screens, the food comes first and we will now be back time and time again. also they have recently gained a high rating by the food hygiene inspectors and they proudly have printed it off and show it as an advertisement, and why not? good for them. the prices are very good also.

New Sagor is located in Lees in Oldham it is a really small resturant only seating around 30 people max but if you book a reseravation you will not be disapointed! The food is really nice and is full of spice and flavour they offer a fantastic set menu for £8.95 which you can get a decent sized Starter and a large Main and a yummy Dessert, with food as good and a cheap as it is, this place need a try!
