Have been to Casa Las Tapas twice, on both occassions had bad experiences. Found the food to be well under par from other independant restaurants we have been to. Ordered beef strips in a red wine sauce, the meat was tough as boots and the sauce tasted like oxo with a splash of wine in it — it was pretty disgusing and very expensive! We are all for giving a restaurant a second try — which we did. Sorry but there will certainly be no 3rd try and would not recommed to any friends.

Casa Las Tapas is a small, long established Spanish restaurant in Oldham town centre. I have been here many times and find the food to be really great. The atmosphere is really relaxed and friendly and the staff always to fit you in if you haven’t made a reservation. The food is much better than some of the chain tapas places and taste home made. The menu also has a selection of meat and fish meals if you don’t fancy tapas, or you could share the lovely paella. Once you’ve tried Casa las Tapas you’ll just keep going back there!!!
