We used to love going here when it was the old Chef & Brewer chain. But something has happened to these places recently and I don’t know what it is. The quality, variety and cooking of previously lovely food has gone downhill. The only upside is the building, which is ‘olde worlde’ wooden beams, low ceilings and with an interesting history — xx
