I would have not given any stars if that had been an option. I appreciate that there was 10 of us that went for breakfast on mothering Sunday 06÷03÷16. However we placed the first order at 10.13 and by 11.00 only 3 out of the 10 meals had been provided. Now 45 mins to provide breakfast is not good, especially as some was as simple as scramble egg on toast! Unfortunately we were on a time schedule and had to leave to catch a train. Therefore 7 members of the party had no breakfast and had to ask for a full refund. They appeared to be more keen in getting the carvery ready for lunch.

Visited on 27÷8÷2010. As it was located next to my hotel (Travelodge — Nottingham Riverside), it seemed a convenient option.
Only visited for Breakfast/​Brunch and «Plate of meat and chips» was the order of the day for me. OK, it’s not called that on the menu, it’s the «Mighty Mixed Grill» or some such but it’s got all the bit and pieces I wanted, Steak, Gammon, Sausages, Chips, Mushrooms, Peas, Egg and Black Pudding.
£14…a little dear I thought expecting some weak effort but a plate the size of small canoe proved me wrong.
Service was excellent from what I experienced but I cannot comment on what it would be like at a busy weekend.
