Standard IBIS hotel… nothing really fancy. Good breakfast. Clean room. Welcoming staff. The hostel doesn´t have a car park, but they give you a discount for the city car park in the same street(1 min by feet). I stayed 2 nights and the first night was perfect. However, the second night was on a thursday, and it is probably bad luck, but around 15 – 20 students decided to spend the night there as well. They were shouting, laughing really loudly in the corridors until around 2 in the morning. Even if several clients complained, the students were only kicked out of the hostel by the police at around 9.00 am. I still don´t understand why they couldn´t be kicked out before…

For a cheap room, I think it was just fine. The room was a good sized room, the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was very good and service very good.

Great for a cheap night! If your in Nottingham for the hockey(like me) this is great as it is near the rink. Car park is the NCP between the hotel & the rink, couple of mins walk away. You’re right in the middle of the city so hand for the shops, bars etc. Especially good if you can get a cheap deal! Rooms are what you’d expect from ibis(they all seem to look the same) — small-ish room but if you want bigger you’ll just have to pay more than these budget prices.

NOT worthy of a 3 star rating in my opinion. The car park is a walk away from the hotel and its not easy to pull up outside as trams are constantly going by. The first room we had was very hot and when I turned the Air-con on I found out why, it leaked water and dripped constantly leading to a big wet puddle on the floor by the door, when I told them about it a reception I was just rudely informed Its not air conditioning its just a cooling unit like I was supposed to be happy with that answer! I asked to change rooms which was better. Also the beds are incredibly uncomfortable, the mattress is about 2 inches thick and the bed is solid wood, not sprung at all. I could go on to mention the extortionate breakfast that was on offer, £9 for a bowl of coco pops, a coffee and a croissant isnt what I would call reasonable.
