I have always had friendly service when visiting this pub. It tends to be people of all ages that drink and eat here. The food is good and lots of special offers are always available. The pub has a pool table and an outdoor enclosed beer garden which is a real sun trap in summer. A good welcoming family pub thats reasonably priced. Food is served all day and tea and coffee is also available. Service for arrival of food can sometimes be a little slow depending on the time of day but isnt that the same everywhere.

Made good effort for Christmassy table with crackers and hats etc. Food was good considering the number of people we had in our party. No-one had a long wait. Not bad for a chain.
