Efes Kebab House

The Kebabs here are probably the best in Nottingham. The Bread sent separately, to avoid the sogginess that sometimes accompanies an order with less attentive kebab-​houses. The salad is always fresh and the general quality gives one some confidence in the ingredients that they have used in the kebab. Yes, even the doner.
The service here is always friendly and usually quick, and it’s a mile better than anything within striking distance, where several businesses lurk that serve kebabs that they could feasibly be tried in the Hague for daring to sell.
The chips, though, are an utter abomination. Dry, horrid monstrosities, the likes of which you would expect from someone who has never heard the word ‘potato’ before, let alone cooked one. Everywhere has a weakness, though, and I can easily forgive them this one given the quality of everything else.
