Just made my third visit to Carolyn Codd Jewellery today, and I am definitely a fan!
I first came to the shop when I was very nervous about having a ring resized. I had taken it to several other jewellers and hadn’t been impressed with any of them. Most were really impersonal and didn’t seem interested in providing the service. I realize that selling jewellery is more profitable than repair work, but in my opinion you can tell a lot about a business by the customer service standard they set on ‘small’ items and services. By this measure, most of the jewellers in town totally failed.
So I kept looking and found Carolyn Codd. I’m glad I did! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and very customer oriented. In addition to doing repairs on-​site, they sell a wide range of jewellery — some of it I think they design themselves. I highly recommend them!
