Now I know that Boots are naturally renowned for their cosmetic counters, pharmacies and toiletries. But for me it tends to be a good choice also to grab a quick lunch on the move — a healthy one at that!
They offer the meal deal which means for £2.99 you can expect to get a sandwich or wrap of your choice, a bag of crisps or fruit and a bottle of your favourite drink. This seem pretty reasonable when compared with some specialised food places and so gets my vote on price.
This particular boots is smaller than some of the city centre type stores, but maintains a good range of the major products and also has that cosmetic counter and pharmacy counter I mentioned earlier.

If like me you don’t like the madness that is Nottingham centre, then a good option it to head out to Bridgford. The Boots here is a good size, with all the make up and and bath time smellies, and they have a very helpful pharmacy, with the free prescription collection service. The only things I can think it doesn’t have are the opticians and the huge gift section you get in the Victoria Centre shop, but then you don’t get the long queues either.
