Charming little old-school Thai tucked away on the corner of St Andrews Street and Bridewell Alley. I looked nothing as I wandered past and, if I hadn’t been in the mood for something oriental and not read the menu, I wouldn’t be writing this review now. Inside, things are just as dated with the friendly but reserved welcome that is normal from older Thai folks. The décor doesn’t appear to have been changed in years and the burnt fire-alarm unit next to my table was amusing. The menu is not too huge but gives plenty of choice and the taste. Well! The taste is absolutely superb. I did a bit of a Michael Winner and ordered a few dishes. The lady running the place asked me if it was my birthday. I was beaten in the end I admit but wish that I had been able to polish not just everything that I ordered, but everything else on the menu too. I went back the next night. Prices are very reasonable indeed. I thoroughly recommend visiting.
