Myself, son and my two grandchildren called in after watching dispicable me in 3D, brilliant film for the children(I enjoyed it as well). We sat in the window, it was a good atmosphere outside as Norwich had just beaten Ipswich and the supporters were walking home in good spirits. anyway back to the food. Children could eat a two course meal for free and a salad bowl each as well, with each paying adult. So the value seemed good. The childrens meals were good which included a trip to the icecream factory. My son’s pizza was good, but I went for the chili chicken pasta dish. The chicken was only warm, realising this could have been a frozen dish I was concerned for my health and returned it for a hot one. The replacement also came warm. Because everybody in my party had now finished I decided to go without a meal. I would imagine there was a problem with the kitchen heating equipment but iiwould have thought the staff would have realised the problem. Anyway the manager was appologetic and adjusted the bill accordingly, but it has left me with the view that I wil not be visiting again, which is a shame because the location is ideal.

I went here saturday and I have to say appauled with the length of time we a) had to wait for a seat and b) how long the card machine took. A friend and I waited a good 20 mins to be seated whilst we and several other customers queued outside the doors. The staff seemed to be millign around behind the bar not doing an awful lot. There were plenty of spare tables left but completely filthy and not sorted since the previous customers. Bad form. Luckily it was 2−4−1!

The worst meatballs and pasta I’ve had in any restaurant anywhere. I’ve seen nicer things come out of a can. This restaurant also seems to be too busy for its own good, unable to cope with the numbers of people coming through. One time we tried to eat here, we were told they were fully booked, yet over half the tables were empty and we only wanted a quick pizza before going to the cinema. If you want to eat at Pizza Hut then go to Chapelfield.

I have been disappointed with this branch of Pizza Hut recently. Although there is nothing wrong with the location — in fact it is ideal for a bite to eat after you have been to the cinema — there is often a lack of choice, with some things not being available to you. For example, last time we went we were told that the coffee machine was not working, and it not been working for some time. The same applied to the hot chocolate. We have had cause to return food because it is overcooked, but to give them their credit they have replaced it when we have complained, and not charged us or have provided us with extra soft drinks as an apology. Other than that, the food is as you would expect from Pizza Hut — a reasonable price for filling food, and activity sheets to keep the children amused, and of course the ice cream factory which never fails to produce endless visits by the kids!

out of all the pizza hut, s in norwich this is my fave although bit off beaten track if shopping in city centre worth the walk or drive. provides the same menu self service salad bar and ice cream station as any other of their outlets in city. i prefer this one as quieter and have never had to wait for a table. has kids menus and they get an activity pack which keeps them amused while waiting for food and several highchairs available. located close to cinema great for popping in for meal before or after. staff have always been helpful and friendly. only down point i have is the several flights of stairs upto the toilets with kids who need to go every 5 minutes.
