Burger King

Burger King in a mall, it’s pretty standard. Lots of seating areas indoors, but it’s a 50 meter (yard?) walk to the door out to the Castle Green, where there are benches or just sit on the grass.
Everything is made to order. Some subtle differences between UK and US menus.

The last franchise left in the city after the two other branches closed down in the city.
It’s located in the food hall on the highest level at Castle Mall.
The generally have a better quality of burger meat and offer such products as the Whopper and new Angus burger.
In recent times they also have the most expensive PR stunt burger selling at over £100!
They generally have offered popping up in news papers from time to time which range from free drinks and fries when you buy a burger to buy one get one free.
For dessert they offer an ice cream which is nice than other brands swirl mixtures.
The seating area is very large as it caters for all of the other food places so you’re bound to get a great seat with views of the hustle and bustle of shopping down below.

This BK always has long queues and is clearly the most popular eatery on the food court. However, those queues go down quite quickly.
The food is usually cooked (or heated) on demand, so you dont end up with a cold burger.
My only grumble is, on the couple of occasions Ihave been here they havent had sometihng — this week it was coffee (the ONLY reason I queued) and previously vaggie burder (i think) — they didnt put a sign up, but waited until i had queued before telling me. A sign would be a good idea! especially with the lunchtime queues which can get REALLY long.
All in all though, a good place to eat. esepcailly if there are a group of you and someone doesnt fancy burger, they can grab a spud from the next unit!

Well I think Burger king is great anyway but I think this particular outlet is really good. It is based in the food court in Castle mall and the seating is for all the different food outlets so if other members of the family do not fancy Burger king then you could get food from there and the other person can get food from one of the other places and all eat together. The staff are very friendly and very quick (witout making yo feel like you have been rushed). I have never had to wait long for my food and it has always been piping hot.
