I was excited to discover this old fashioned pub as I cut through some side roads a few weeks ago. With a little research I found their website which boasted…‘We don’t serve food — just good beers from a wide range of suppliers’…even better, sounds like my kind of place.
Finally made it there this evening… only two beers on tap and a few drunks huddled round the bar howling along to the jukebox whilst a couple more flailed around, dancing like it was 1975 .
Everyone was having fun, the barmaid was welcoming & there were no bad vibes, but it really wasn’t my kind of place after all.
