Brilliant service, took my 5D in for a clean and new focus screen, had it dropped back 2 days later by thier van for no extra charge.

I took my camera here for repair recently. The man that I spoke to was very friendly and very helpful. In fact, he fixed my camera within moments and best of all, he said there was no charge!
I would totally recommend this place to anyone (and not because the service was free!) but because they genuinely seem like a very friendly and professional outfit. I had a look around whilst I was there and they offered a variety of printing/enlargement services, second hand and new equipment etc.
I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

I think of Skears as one of those old fashioned shops who know their field inside out and nothing is too much trouble for the.
But to say they’re old fashioned would be to do them a disservice — the old fashioned values are still there, their knowledge of the products is still there but like photography itself has progressed, Skears have moved with the times, offering a good range of speedy digital services, such as print and wide format printing that is better than most locally.
They also carry a good range second hand camera equipment which also comes with a warranty amd a repair service too.
Love this shop, anyone wanting anything to do with photography needs to pay them a visit.

My boyfriend uses this shop alot as he can sometimes find stuff there cheaper than Jessops or the major photography shops. Thye can reserve stuff for you if you are after aparticular item and the staff are very friendly and helpful
