As the only restaurant of it’s type in the centre of Northampton, Salsa has somewhat monopolised the Mexican food niche in the town. Not that that’s a problem as they sell delicious Mexican food of all types at very reasonable prices. The only slight downfall would be in the decoration of the restaurant itself, they could definitely have put in more effort to get a more authentic Mexican feel to the place. That said, the food is very good and the service friendly and unhurried. They also have the benefit of being able to validate your parking ticket for the Sol Central multi-storey just over the road.
