Having a killer wait for the last Edinburgh flight, an early check in, in search of food was in order. The Wine & Deli Bar appears to be a rebranding of the seafood and champagne bar which was on the same site previously (Thermador’s) — too much luxe for the recession perhaps but same idea with £7 glasses of wine, choice of champagnes and seafood.
Food was decent enough, a £10 seafood salad (crab, king prawns and smoked salmon) were all tasty and appeared fresh, but the avocado was a slightly mean portion and parts of the salad were a bit limp.
Good if you have time to kill and want something other than BK and sandwiches.
