Brill place to chill out and make friends, all staff are very friendly, spacious garden at rear also kids room with many tvs round the pub with different attributes to sport. Cheapest pub in Normanton and a seller of Normanton only Real ale pub.
A lot to offer for a well situated establishment also very close to UK motorway network.

The Black Swan is a great place to start a night out. When I’ve been in there, it’s always been upbeat and lively, with a variety of music and a real mix of customers. The only slight negative point is that it can get really busy — but that just shows how popular it is! It’s set slightly back from the road, but it’s still easy to find, right on Westgate and very close to the centre of Wakefield’s nightlife — so you don’t have to walk too far! They do all the usual drinks, plus a range of cocktails, including the Fishbowl — an infamous bucket of spirits which I suggest you approach with extreme caution and share with a few mates!
