I’m always in Dunelm at least once a week either buying something or having a cuppa. It’s a fab store with pretty much anything household and lots of variety including curtains, bed linen and kitchen items. Very reasonable and good quality. The coffee shop has a nice quiet ambience and it’s always easy to get a seat. I regularly meet with friends here because you can have a proper conversation. I think people forget about here because there are other coffee places in and around Abbey centre and this is a little out of the hustle and bustle. Decent variety of simple hot/cold snacks and drink available. The staff are friendly too which is always welcome anywhere.

Went to Dunelm for a few things and came out with a lot more than I intended! This is really a one stop shop for your home — soft furnishings, electrical, furniture, bits and bobs. I agree with the previous reviewer in that it’s somewhere between a bargain shop and the likes of debenhams. It’s got the decent quality stuff at affordable prices. After learning the lesson that our puppy hadn’t quite managed toilet training, we were in need of a new duvet. We got an absolute cracker — really thick, heavy, warm and comfortable king size for about £42. I was expecting to pay around twice that.

The huge retail store at the Abbey Centre shopping area was the first branch of Dunelm Mill I’d ever heard of. Apparently there are now four in Northern Ireland! The Newtownabbey branch of the textile firm opened a few Christmases ago and I picked up some great last minute presents here. It’s great value for money and I was surprised by the friendly and informative customer service. I fell in love with the big fluffy furry polar bear rugs, I want one! Plus there’s a huge range of fabric, lighting, curtains, cushions, pillows, bedding… you name it for home décor it’s going to be here and for a pretty competitive price too! The store offers free car parking and there’s a nice wee café for when you’re all shopped out!

Dunelm mill is a one stop shop for all your household furnishing needs and is the perfect place to go if you are looking for a few bits and pieces for your house. I came across this place when I was looking for a bean bag. I had seen one on tv and decided there and then that my life was not complete without one. So after going to the usual haunts like IKEA etc. I came here and was amazed by the sheer scale of the shop. Heaton’s does everything from soup spoons to door mats, and there is a good selection of everything it ventures to sell. I would advise this place to anyone who is looking to shop but for nothing in particular.

This one at Newtownabbey is much the same as the other branches of Dunelm Mill. It sells reasonable quality stuff at totally affordable prices. I always think Dunelm is a mix between a more upmarket home store and a bargain shop, because you find everything in there!
