the best carvery i have ever had, for a reasonable price. what makes it special are the vegetables. they dont just stick to the standard peas carrots etc but also offer Mediterranean veg and seasoned green beans etc. the deserts are also fantastic, homemade and scrumptious with a good variety of choice that change each time i go. it can be very busy which can slow the service and ruin the atmosphere making everything seem a little rushed and squashed! but so worth it for the food!

hare and hounds had grown from strength to stregth in the years and has a very wide variety of foods to choose from at a reasonable price they are child and disable friendly and have a very big restaurant seating more than 100. You can get a simple bar meal of ham egg and chips to a beef and ale pie or go more a la carte in their restaurant which serves a lovely lamp shank or roast duck, lovely atmosphere and right on the main road, ideal for stipping off before torquay
