The five stars on this are based mainly on the chicken burgers! They are amazing! Probably the best I’ve ever tasted. The other food on the menu is hit and miss really but they do some good meal deals and a great lunchtime deal for a fiver which includes a chicken burger and a curry/​super chip and a drink! Not bad! The restaurant itself is clean and there is plenty of seating.

Simply the best Chicken Burger you will ever eat. A friend of mine once told me that the pizzas were nice too. I then berated him for 15 minutes asking why one would go to Friar Tucks and ask for anything other than a chicken burger.
I’m going to put this out there. Friar Tucks is not healthy, it is not well presented and it is not cheap but once you taste the chicken burgers and super chip you will know why you have just parted with seven pounds.
A range of other food is available for idiots who doubt the advice of a twenty-​stone man telling them that these are possibly the nicest chicken burgers in the world.
