This is a great shop for all things yummy. Have had tea & scones, sandwiches & birthday cakes from thus store & would go back for all of the above. They have a tea room but never been in. Always pop in to get lunch for the beach & birthday cake for a birthday whilst we are on hols.

Cakes to die for — I used to live just up the lane from this bakery, which is nowhere near a long enough walk to justify eating one of their cakes all to myself. Not that that ever stopped me, hence the fact I’ve lost about half a stone since leaving! Whether it’s coffee, chocolate, carrot or gâteau that tickles your fancy, Paulines is the only place to go. They also have a small sit down area, offering teas and pasty’s and the like. Go light, and come out heavy. You don’t have a choice!!!
