Vanilla Spice

Nice curry house, good service and very clean and spacious. Much better than your average desi restaurant.

Vanilla Spice has only been open for a while after an astoundingly long development. They originally intended to have it open for the Ryder Cup but unfortunately it hadn’t finished. The décor inside is absolutely gorgeous and it’s very well done inside. A Newport Curry house with a touch of class in a way.
The food was decent, quality meat (which makes a huge difference in curries in my eyes) and flavoursome. There is a large many with many choices.
It’s certainly not the cheapest of curries in the port but it is still very nice. Service was alright, it wasn’t overly busy when we went and we had a table of 7 and it took a while. With 7 of us eating a few pints of cobra, poppodoms, chutneys, naans and mains with chips and rice we ended up spending about £20 each.
I’d deffinately reccommend. There is on site parking.
