Lyceum Tavern

Good old Lyceum Tavern. A traditional pub that does everything you would want it to do. Friendly staff and the usual locals are a recipe for a good atmosphere with the regular stuff on tap, although they have some home brew versions of each type available, which are to shabby either.
They do have plenty of things on to keep things ticking over such as the good old quiz and with the occasional bit of live music thrown in it’s rarely dull there. You could always go to the back and play darts or pool if you want.
Only thing that lets it down for me is that whilst they have a big screen for games, rugby etc, it’s not in the best place, although that said the layout of the pub doesn’t lend itself for that anyway.
