Yummy pizza! You can customise your pizza which is great. The atmosphere is okay, table was a bit dirty :(and the price is pricey for what you get.

Downloaded a special offer of and was told it wasn’t valid when it was. It’s not that it was or not it was the managers attitude!!!

Googled nearby pizza places since I got tired of the same old Domino’s and Pizza Hut. I found Pizza Express and checked out their website. I love it when restaurants have websites since it allows me to check out the menu in advance and see if it’s worth trying. It definitely was. Went here for lunch, ordered the bruschetta originale. It was great appetizer choice, very light and refreshing. My husband and son shared the pizza dough balls. Unfortunately I was only able to snag one before they were all gone. They were toasty on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. Only problem is that I wish the portion sizes were bigger! For my entrée I decided to go with the pizza that won an award in some pizza competition the company had. I figured if it beat out a ton of other contenders, you can’t go wrong with giving it a try. Da Morire Romana pizza, it was topped with gorgonzola, mozzarella, caramelized leeks, artichokes, crispy pancetta, rosemary and chilli oil. Delicious!

Ok where do I start with what I love about pizza express!?? I live in the states now but always enjoy my experiences. The calamari and the pizza express dough ball are the way to go for starters. The sloppy gisuppe is so spicy and tangy my mouth is watering. I wish I was there right now seeing as it is lunch time there. The desserts are filling but nice and light. The wine and spirits selection is pretty good! You will not be disspointed by your experience.

With a Pizza Express in Bury and Ely I was really pleased to see one come to Newmarket too. Its situated in the high street but parking isn’t as close as I’d like it. You know what you’re going to get, and its good value, especially as there are 2 for 1 deals and Tesco vouchers deals at the moment — my favourites being the Pollo Salad and Soho pizza. The down side was that service was a bit slow considering how quiet it was. but hey there are worse ways to spend time.

Pizza Express is one of the relatively newer places to eat in Newmarket. Its on the High Street, and it looks really good from the outside. Inside is just as nice, very clean, and decorated well, and the tables are always immaculate and the staff look great in their crisp uniforms. I have only eaten here once, and to be honest, was not that impressed with it. There wasnt much choice of toppings on the menu as I expected, and as a fussy eater I didnt have a lot to pick. The startes were very nice, but the pizzas were really thin crust, I doint think I have ever seen such a thin crust before! The pizzas definately werent up to scratch for me, especially as the prices were really high aswell. It was nice to have table service, rather than having to keep going and asking for a new drink, if the waiters noticed that our glasses were running low they would come and ask if we would like a refill, but I have a feeling we paid more for the service than we did for the food we ate. I stick to my takeaway pizzas now!

This is a nice place to eat. Have visited several times and have always found the food a high standard. It does get quite busy here so if you are planning a visit i would advise that you book a table. A couple of times when it has been really busy the food has taken quite a long time to be served. Atmosphere is good, staff are friendly. Food is a little pricey for pizzas, — at the usual Pizza Express prices but as usual of a good quality. They do some cheese free pizzas for those who havea dairy allergy — which is a great as I dont imagine many pizza places offer this. A nice place to eat after going to the races or before visiting some local pubs(not for the faint hearted).
