09-feb-2011 Visited Tyrespot on Sandy lane Gosforth to have the front brake pads on my golf renewed, the service was the same as on my previous visits quick and efficient with a safety report on the tyres but absolutely no pressure to have extra work done, like some other local garages that offer a quick service. The price was not the cheapest quoted but the parts used were of a good brand. Good service at a reasonable price

Visited Tyre Spot on Scotswood road for a puncture and two new tyres on the front of a Vw Golf on a Friday a few ago. Had Computer Alignment Front and Rear, as soon as we left the Garage around 17.50 the car started to veer to the left, phoned them up but no answer. On Saturday Morning made an appointment for Monday, again they did an Alignment saying everything was okay now, as soon as we came out of the garage the car then started to veer to the Right, took it back, then I was told it was a Bush that was the problem, after an heated argument in front of other customers, great customer service there then, whereby I said it was. nt like that when it was brought in, they decided to try again, this time they managed to get it right,(hopefully) saying it was the bolt within the Bush that they could, nt move origanally. I asked was it not done right on the Friday and again on Monday, they admitted that was the case. How canTyre Spot let a vehicle come onto the road when it was not safe to do so? Never again. Would have rated zero, but not allowed to. Will use VW instead, they may be more expensive but at least we can be safe.
