Nugelato

This was a lovely place to sit and enjoy a delicious cup of gelato. They have several flavors and even offer fresh vanilla being freshly churned.
The owner and employees are so friendly and welcoming. Loved it!

So we were in Newcastle today to visit the in-​laws and decided to take a walk and get some ice-​cream. We decided to try Nugelato as it is relatively new and we’d never tried it before. As soon as we went in the girl greeted us and was very chatty, friendly and helpful. The parlour was well kept and fresh looking, with indoor and outdoor seating. The ice-​cream menu was huge with many exciting concoctions. They also serve tea/​coffee and so on, and I saw a sign advertising afternoon teas.
We went for ice-​cream sundaes. It took me a while to choose as the list was massive which was brilliant, and I should also note that the prices were far better than neighbouring ice-​cream parlours. I opted for the ‘big brownie’ sundae which contained ice-​cream, warm brownie, and chocolate sauce, topped with fresh cream and wafers — it was absolutely delicious and all the ingredients were of the highest quality. My husband also loved his strawberry sundae.
I recommend this ice-​cream parlour and will definitely return next time I visit Newcastle. Next time I might try a ‘nuggy pot’ which seemed to be a mixture of ice-​cream and toppings where you can choose what exactly you want in it, for example there was a rocky road one with marshmallows and other yummy ingredients!
