The food here always looks great and tastes great. The dining area is nice and clean as are the toilets. Mains usually start around £10 and the sides are just slightly less. I’ve always found the service to be friendly, quick and efficient without making me feel like I was being rushed. The portions are fairly substantial, the bowls of ramen are huge and come with a wooden spoon/ladle for the broth. If you’re feeling adventurous leave the fork and spoon and grab your chopsticks!

Been here a few times for lunch as the food makes me feel healthy. It’s a good place if you are dining by yourself as bench style seating. I usually have the raw juice as not something I make myself at home. I love the wok fried greens, it’s a simple side dish but really tasty. The menu is updated a few times a year, so always something new to try. I tried the pad thai and it was really tasty. It is a bit more expensive than most places, but you get plenty to eat. The staff are very friendly and the service is quite quick.

Now that I’ve fallen for Phở, I feel like I have a little less love for Wagamama than I used to. Still, it’s a great place to get a reliable noodle dish. This location is very busy at lunchtime, and it shows in the slightly slow service and occasionally things being forgotten(not to us, but to our tablemates — they brought out the wrong order and took ages to fix it). I got a tropical juice(mango, apple, orange) and it was delicious but expensive — fortunately we had coupons for free juice but I’d have skipped buying it otherwise. I got the wagamama ramen which was extremely filling and full of fun things to eat. Chicken, barbecued pork, egg, prawns, mussels, bamboo, and seaweed. I find I don’t like the taste of the broth as much as I used to, I don’t know if they’ve changed their recipe. But you get a truly abundant proportion of hot noodle soup — which is good, because they do charge a fair bit.

ive only been to this place once, but will not be returning. id heard good things before I visited, but wagamama did not live upto expectations. the service was poor, the dish I ordered was horrid, and the atmosphere reminded me of one of those big all you can eat chinese buffet houses, with a huge lack of privacy complimented by a buzz of organised chaos. A big disappointment. the only real saving grace was that my friends seemed to enjoy there meal.

Always busy. Long bench style seating. Lots of noodle dishes and a regularly changing lineup of specials. Staff always polite and food generally served quickly.

Have visited Wagamama’s a few time now, and its always been excellent in all aspects(food, service, surroundings…) There is plenty of dishes to choose from on the menu, and vegetarian /hot foods are displayed on the menu. Service has been great on all visits with orders taken smoothly and food arriving fairly quick. Will be visiting again sometime soon.

Smashing place! The food is good, they’re very fast and efficient, and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. I’ve been there many times, sometimes with large groups(~10 people), and it’s never even been necessary to book a table — it’s a pretty big place and they’ve always managed to find seats for us. The menu’s varied — they have Japanese, Indonesian, Chinese etc. — but easy to read. And they have genuine Japanese beer. Comes highly recommended!

Wagamama is always an excellent place to go for a quick lunch or dinner, and the one in Newcastle is no exception. Typical décor for a Wagamama restaurant, set in nice surroundings with views out onto Eldon square itself. Outside seating avaliable for the more adventurous. With an ever changing specials menu, as well as the old favourites, youre never likely to get bored with wagamama. Its also well worth signing up to their mailing list for special offers and promotions.

What can I say about Wagamamas? When I want to go out for dinner, or sometimes lunch, Wagamamas is always in the top three choices. It’s amazing food, quick, stylish, and simply exquisite in all the right places. Some people say it’s pricey? The wonderful service, speed, and quality of Wagamamas, is straight on the money — worth every pence! I also enjoy not having them put service charge into the bill. I’m proud to tip them an extra 10%. Wagamamas in Newcastle City Centre has never failed my expectations. Even when I order out, they’re timely and the extra amenities given in the take out bag is awesome. I highly recommend for any occasion.

Okay this place wa a bit weird but nice I dont think I am into the sitting side by side thig to many chances for strangers to talk to you while eating. The food though is good though the concotions seem unusual the flavours work well together and there is plenty of choice for vegetarians. Helps if you like noodles though there is more than that a lot of the dishes are noodle based and there are a few different types they do some nice japanese beers to go with your meal. Dont be afraid to ask for a little advice if your not sure what to get as the staff are friendly enough

I’m very glad there is a Wagamamas nearby me in the city centre, because I think of this as great comfort food when its cold out or I’m feeling under the weather. They have the typical sparse décor with benches along wide tables. The please was pretty empty when I was there(it was an odd time), and service was quick and good. I’m not sure why, but I really like the writing of the order on the placemat. Next time I’ll stick to the Chicken Itame, because the Ramen is definitely not worth the bucks. I like the soup noodles and the green tea for comfort food, but I’m sure I’ll try the other noodle dishes some time.

A stylish lunch and dinner resto, with an aesthetic of Japanese Fast Food. This restaurant isnt too big, which is hopefully the reason why the waiters will absolutely insist on seating clients in the most bizzare patterns around their bench-style tables. Apart from that the service was Wagamama-standard — fast and polite, and above all efficient. Located in the spanking new Eldon Square shopping centre courtyard, this Wagamama is likewise new and shiny. Fairly pleasant views can be had from this mezannine first floor location. For Wagamama virgins — the menu can be quite daunting at first, but eventually you realise there is just three basic types of dish served — noodle soup, noodles and various sides. From there on you just variate the toppings.

I loved this restaraunt, it is very sterile and modern but is very light and although it does feel a little like a school dinner hall I think it really works for someone to stop off for lunch while shopping. I got the chicken Katsu and have to say it was delicous. The drinks etc are pretty pricey but its not the type of place I would sit after the meal and drink was more of enjoy my meal, that not being a bad point I quite like that about the place, it feels a little like a cross between a fast food restaraunt matched with a normal restaraunt and I thought the place was great. I would recommend anyone to try it!
