Burger King

This place is so inconsistent. Today the food was cold and horrible but in other occasions it has been nice.
I have never been served by anyone English which proves somewhat challenging when ordering through an intercom system. Food is always slow unfortunately as well. Very hit and miss.

This is a popular restaurant as it’s on the main road through Newbury.
The food is of good quality and is made to order, so you can be sure that it hasn’t been sat around for ages unlike another burger chain.
The drive through is quick and you can easily understand what the person on the other end is saying.
Sometimes, if you go in at the wrong time you can be waiting a while for your order and the fries are sometimes luke warm.
I like the fact that you can fill your own drink.

Living roughly 5 minutes away from Burger King I find myself being quite a frequent visitor, tempted by the delicious double bacon cheeseburger and fries.
The location is reasonable, and whilst out of the town centre, is within walking distance for the most determined, and has a car park and drive through section alongside.
The drive through is reasonably quick, although as usual you can barely hear the automated voice asking you to place your orderand when human intervention is involved that’s not always a help! The inside is clean, presentable and rarely exceedingly busy so food service is always prompt, hot and delivered with a smile.
Freebies have been given when service has been less than par, so perhaps this keeps me coming back to the local BK!
