Newark Motor Auctions

This is an easy one — I’ve been here three times and bought a car each time. The latest visit was to replace a friend’s car. Turned up, registered (simple), looked at the no-​reserve motors on offer, bid on a couple, won on the last one and bought a Ford Fiesta for £100. Add in the site fees of £30 and you have a bargain of a car.
There was some good metal moving at ridiculously low prices so this may be worth a further visit in a few weeks to get a doer-​upper…
Auctions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting at 6pm.
Wear your wellies…
The map here is a bit misleading, as it looks like the auction site is the Newark side of the A1 when it’s actually on Drove Lane. Easiest way to find it its to follow the signs for the Air Museum — it’s right next door!
