Wonderful day spa in a beautiful 1800’s listed mansion with attractive gardens and grounds. Fantastic interior with numerous treatment rooms(meaning a large group of friends can easily have treatments at the same time provided you book in advance). The usual selection of treatments — hot stones is a favourite, as is the frangipani wrap. Lovely relaxation room for post-treatment relaxation as well as a huge comfy conservatory for coffee, smoothies, champagne or afternoon tea. Restaurant has several smaller rooms which used to be the library, drawing room etc. one downside is that the food is not as 5* as it used to be — the Italian meatballs were dry and tasteless and the Spicy Thai noodles weren’t spicy — may have been an off day as the food has always been wonderful on the previous 6 occasions we’ve been. All in all would recommend this for a perfect day of pampering.

I first went here a few years ago with my Mum for her 50th birthday and we recently returned in Sept this year. It is the ultimate relaxing/pampering day, where you can do what you want. We even hired bikes and went for a bike ride around Elston village. The treatments available are amazing, we both had hot stone therapy. And for those of you that think the food will be a lettuce leaf with carrot juice, think again, there’s a huge selection from the buffet and a choice of main courses.

Eden Hall is a place I’d admired for a long time when driving past it on the A46. It looks so impressive with a massive conservatory on the front and grounds stretching out around it. It was only a matter of time before I got to go there! A friend who couldn’t make my hen night took me there for the day, and boy, what a day we had! We sat and lounged about in the conservatory on the comfy sofas with the sound of a delightful water feature in the background(a centre piece in the room). Went for swim in the pool, had a 3 course lunch, which you’d never think was healthy eating! The food was absolutely gorgeous! Then we rounded off the day with our complimentary massages on a heated couch and promptly fell asleep after! It’s just a shame you have to go at the end of the day and can’t stay over. I loved the place!

Oh wow was I in for a treat when I was taken here for the day. First a lovely continental breakfast where we stuffed ourselves. Then off to the sauna and cold rooms, next a swim in a very lovely pool witha jacuzzi in it at the edge. Then off for a massage. WOWWEE. the best massage I have ever had and I do regulary have them. If you go ask for a Frangipani massage, a warm oil is drizzled over you and massage in, the lights are dim and the table is warmed. I fell asleep it was so nice. Then dinner it was fantastic, then we found a settee and had a sleep it was so relaxing. Loved it.
