Popped in for lunch after reading a positive review in the Times. The restaurant was very quite ensuring that the waiter was very attentive! A mixture of furniture in a small room provided a relative feeling of an Eastern European restaurant that was physically comfortable and discreet. The lunch time menu was succinct but provided an added complexity that it all sounded really nice but after much deliberation I settled on: Mushrooms in a garlic sauce on a toasted olive bread that was both delicate in taste and complex in taste. Not being too adventurous today I opted for the chicken schnitzel hoping that it was as god as the last one I ate in Muchengladbach a number of years ago. Well is as good as I remember it but far larger than I was anticipating and really succulent with a lovely crisp bread crumb covering. A generous portion of home made chips that were a perfect compliment with an amazing crispness and fluffy inside. We will give it a couple of weeks and turn to test out the evening menu.
