Nakatcha

Wow! Ich dont think so as Bruno would say! Poor customer service and a terrible place overall. They charge 2 pounds to get in to what is a run of the mill bar, playing pop and r&b. Dingy and dark on the inside and not much thought has gone into the décor. My immediate impression of this place was that of a sophisticated ‘more exclusive’ bar. Unfortunately it is anything but sophisticated or exclusive. So ordinary it hurts.
My food experience was VERY average and overpriced. The service was slow, too long of a gap between starters and mains. The place tries to come across like an exclusive ‘fancy’ establishment, but it is just so horribly average. The menu is not that extensive, and the food not that tasty.
At nightthe drinks are over priced and the bottle of beer I had was pretty warm. Urgh. Outrageous that they charge to get into a bar (especially when it’s not that much fun either). The fact that they have a ‘dress code’ of shoes and shirts is almost comical. Where do you think you are in Soho?! It’s a little pub in a little village in nowheresville. Get over yourself Nakatcha!
I think my worst experience of all was the the door men/​security. Quite clearly the kids who were bullied at school who have now put some roid weight on and are desperate to throw it around. They seemed to just make up their own rules over whether to grant entry. The night I went I saw a poor guy refused entry. because the bouncer did not like the way he took his ID back of him! Claiming he snatched it! Ridiculous.
My advice. Avoid this place like the plague! Save your money or visit some of the more traditional and much friendlier pubs in Nantwich.

just love Nakatcha… staff are terrific. menu is good… limited but good but the ambience and feel of the place great… top draw ! Went back last week and the staff are still terrific but the food was shocking… new chef?

Great for a drink in the evening. They do serve food but only until around 8pm. Fairly basic menu, but well cooked. At the weekends they have a dance area at the back which is fun if you want that kind of thing! It gets really busy late on as its the only bar open until the early hours, but be aware they do charge to get in later on, and the later you go the more they charge! Good range of drinks, a little pricier than some places, but you kind of gather that as you go in because its slightly more up-​market than the majority of places in nantwich! Its still laid back though, and gets a really varied crowd in.
