Anchor Bar has had a wonderful, recent refurbishment and all for the better.
Gone is the doom and gloom old man’s pub. In are brighter colors and a modern feel.
There is a TV that was showing Horse Racing. There was loud (but, not too loud) music).
The bar staff were friendly and polite.
Certainly one of the nicer pubs in the area.
