I have always wondered why most hair salons close on Mondays. It must be some sort of unofficial hairdressers holiday, but if you want a bit of a hair chop on a Monday, then you’re out of luck. This salon is no different, except it’s also shut on Sundays and Tuesdays aswell. Strange.
It is a small salon, which has been renovated to include a beauty salon quite recently. Although this is not my regular hairdressers, the stylists have saved my skin many times when I have needed a last minute cut or blow dry for a night out. There are 3 full time stylists working there, and the salon is nicely decorated and quite small. The chairs are always full though, as they do a really good pensioners deal. My auntie gets her hair done every Thursday because it’s just such great value.
Prices can vary depending on what you want, but it is around £20-£25 for a cut and blow dry, which is really not bad at all, considering the competition around the area; Motherwell has so many hairdressers!
