Tasty ramen in the middle of a soulless shopping centre. No atmosphere at all, but the same reliable noodle soups that you can get at every location. Friendly service, though a bit slow considering how empty the place was. I like to get the chicken ramen after a night of drinking, it just feels very cleansing. Nice how you can pick the noodles you want, and I like their juices too!

Amazing service complimenting a great food selection. New app makes paying easier when in a rush for the cinema.

I’ve visited Wagamamas in Keynes on a number of occasions with friends. It’s got a bit of a weird setup with bench seating so you can end up sitting next to random people, however, it’s great if you are looking to grab dinner quick and relatively cheaply. Last time I visited I had the Teriyaki beef soba. It’s basically a noodle dish with a cut up steak on top. The beef was cooked very nicely — pink in the centre and nice and tender. Mix of vegetables served with it were also very nice. Service can however be a bit hit and miss depending on when you go though but overall I would say it’s a good place for people to try if they are passing by.

First time having English style Japanese food. I had the Katsu Curry Rice. They use chicken instead of pork for a lot of the traditional dishes, i.e. ramen and curry. But still have some pork in the soup stock. But anyway, the curry had nice flavor to it and the staff were nice. Portion seemed small to me(but I’m from the US) and a bit expensive 11+ GBP for the meal and a Coke. But I would go again to try something else.

Wagamama’s is a fairly new restaurant in central Milton Keynes Shopping Centre. It’s at the Marks and Spencer end of the centre and so attracts a fair number of shoppers at peak times. There is usually a queue outside the shop at weekends, so be prepared to wait for a seat if you go then. You sit on long benches to give it that authentic Japanese feel, maybe not ideal if you are after some privacy with your fellow diner(s). The food is fantastic if you’re into Japanese cuisine, I would highly recommend it. Service can be slow, perhaps they could do with employing a few more waiters?
