This Mcdonalds store is located in the heart of Middleton, and is one of the only franchise fast food chains in the area, apart from KFC which is a bit of a walk away from the cetre and honestly this chain takes it for granted, I had a really bad experience with a coffee and when I went back to give them another chance it was also dreadful
EXPERIENCE ONE: I just called in, in the early morning to grab a Toffee Latte, the latte was absaloutly vile, I have had so many of these drinks before and loved them, hence paid £2.09 and got a large one but today it didn’t taste like toffee, it tasted absaloutly disgusting and ville, it made me feel sick just by smelling it nevermind drink it hence it went in the bin outside, I couldn’t stomach it at all. It was bad enough I had a long wait for my drink from when I ordered it, with 4 people hanging around trying to work the coffee machine, without success until they finally got it working to make one of the worst coffees I have had in my life.
EXPERIENCE TWO: I went back today while passing by to try the Mcrib burger, which I have wanted to try for a while especially after The Oxford Road store experience. They made it without the bun to make it gluten free, but honestly I found the meat to be chewy and awful and the BBQ Sauce was not great either, it certainly didn’t look or taste fresh, I know it is Mcdonalds and it isnt Gordan Ramsay cuisine but they are still certain standards to maintain for a massive, worldwide food chain with dare I say it tens of thousands of branches in every city in the UK, and even every country. Once again, this went straight in the bin and it cost £4.09,
I have spent £6.19 here on 2 visits and everything went in the bin, enough is enough, I have to give 1 star to this branch and issue a hands of warning — I certainly won’t be coming here again.
This is one of the worst Mcdonalds stores in the area as the staff are clueless and can’t make a coffee and the food isn’t much better. The only positive I can think of is the location, with this being one of the only major businesses in the town, with it being mostly local businesses, but they don’t take advantage of their big name.
