I think the Harvester is great value for money when you get there before 6.30 Monday to Friday, or before 5pm on a Saturday. If you can make these times you will be offered 1⁄3 off the menu prices. Since all main courses include unlimited visits to the salad bar you really cannot go wrong. Or at least I thought so…
We were passing this place and thought we would drop in for lunch. As I walked in I almost walked right out again but I was hungry and willing to over look the dingy, dark atmosphere and load of kids behaving loudly as kids often do.
I found the salad bar small, i.e. there were fewer items than normal and no pineapple — damn! When the food eventually came, it must have took 20 – 30 minutes it was, well ok. I ordered the combo. The portion of ribs was small and the chicken dry.
I did not enjoy this visit and should have walked out like my instincts were telling me. The overall griminess atmosphere and poor quality alround makes this place less attractive than the other harvester at sterling corner,
