good bakery! has lots of lovely fresh sandwiches and your not left quing for long periods of time as with other sandwich shops located in the centre of town. portions are big and large selection of cakes and pastries.

excellent top notch bakery in linthorpe village right opposite the cleveland pub, excellent steak bakes, sausage rolls, constantly cooking fresh lovely pastries, staff corteous and freindly. i would not hesitate to recommend a return visit as it is a lovely bakery

Thomas the baker is right in the heart of town.
It is a lovely bakery that has several awards to its name.
I really like the cheese straws and at 10 for £1.10 theyre a bargain.
I also like the pizzas and eccles cake and very recently they’re cheese ciabatta sandwiches with tuna filling.
There is a lot of choice including hot pies and pasties, cakes, biscuits, sandwiches, breads etc.
The staff are friendly enough and the place is clean and tidy.
Price is reasonable but it is worth looking out for offers as Thomas has a few of these running daily.
I would definately recomend Thomas the Bakers to anyone who hasn’t tried it.
