Psyche

Psyche is a very nice designer shop in Middlesbrough. The shop floor is very well laid out and it is easy to find what you are looking for. They also have a great selection of clothes from likes of Levis, Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss and much more. The reason I have given psyche 3 star review and not higher is because of the staff. On number of occasions while shopping at psyche I feel that the staff have looked at me as if I shouldn’t be shopping here they are not very friendly and I feel like they were speaking down to me.

The previous poster is right about the décor and the spaciousness and it is worth a visit just for this but the staff, I feel, can be a little off-​putting, so bare this in mind if you visit.

You have two ways to shop here, Treat it like a museum where you look but don’t touch or grin and bear it as you hand over your cash. Everything here is quality items and the prices reflect in this.
The shop is on 3 differerent levels and includes much to my daughters delight a lovely bridal wear department (she recently visited this with her boyfriends mum and not me!!!)
The ambience of the shop makes you feel very special, the staff are all lovely and do anything to help
If you are wanting that extra something special try Pschye and you will not be dissapointed!

Shopping in Psyche is an experience in itself! The vast exterior with it’s gorgeous clothes in the window just invites you in. The staff here are very professional, friendly and helpful.
It has three floors, the first being mens wear with a hairdressers on the left. The central stairs cascade downwards very fancily and if you go up you’ll find yourself in the ladies section and childrens clothing. There is also an absolutely gorgeous bridal section with dresses to die for. Just going in this section could generate a review in itself. The only problem with the clothes here are the prices!
The ladies section is well stocked and beautifully arranged with some absolutely gorgeous top desinger shoes.
With them all being designer you can find that you’re setting yourself back a bit but there’s nothing more to expect really! The top floor does offer some cheaper designers and despite the price I would say to definitely check out this place, if not to star in awe at the décor on the walls.

As soon as I walk through Psyche’s doors and onto its swish black marble floors, I immediately feel that the world’s become a more glamorous place– but glamorous in a very contemporary way. With several floors dedicated to designers such as Jimmie Choo (the shoe section here is just to die for) for both men and womens’ clothes, as well as homeware and even contemporary art, Psyche has the range of a department store but the intimacy of a boutique. It now boasts a hair and beauty salon, chocolate counter and the most divine café (at around five pounds a glass the champagne is very affordable) with plush purple velvet sofas and chairs. When I die I want to go to Psyche.
