Well what can i say: Lets start off with the staff, the staff are very helpful, kind, ploite and informative. They give excellent customer service and treat everyone like they are the only customer in the pub. Moving onto the drinks, as they are only a small village pub they have a selection of non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. They might not have an extensive range of drinks but they have excellent prices, in which they can accomadate everyones price range. Now the reason i was writing this review, the food. the Half Moon’s food is, well how i would say exceptional, now not many people get me to like food, but when i tasted this food it was like an explotion in my mouth, the food was full of flavour. I wished i could have had a dessert but we had to leave to get back home, i could have stayed there all night until it closed. The prices of the food are highly stated in the menu, they have a fantastic childrens menu aswell. We talked to the management, and they said that they believed in portion sizes and to be honest i thought well everyone says that but when our food came out i thought to myself they were not lying. i would recommend this pub for any occasion even if you just fancy a nice meal and a drink with the family. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Nice pub with nice food, the restaurant is very popular so it can be best to book and we have also found on several occasions they have run out of the veggie option. They are very popular in the run up to Christmas with works do’s so book early. The prices for meals are all clearly displayed as are many of the drinks prices so you shouldn’t get any nasty surprises. I don’t think we have ever had a bad night out here. There is a very big car park to the rear of the pub.
