Fatso’s is really good value for money. You can get a filled jacket potatoe (choice of fillings), full salad (inc coleslaw) and a drink for £2.50. There is also sandwiches in a huge range of flavours and soup which is lovely. There is two of these in middlesbrough town centre but this one is close to university so its often a stop off for lunch.

I love the tuna salad sandwiches from here. They are reasonably priced and you get a free napkin wrapped around the sandwich. The only thing I would say is that if you don’t eat them straight away they do tend to get soggy — so eat um quick!

Brilliant little shop! Always go in here after a day in uni, its sometimes quite busy, but i’m not surprised because its a great place to fill up. The food is the cheapest thing really, they get you on the price of the crisps, drinks etc. If you only get a sandwich, or a jacket potato, its pretty cheap. The food isn’t the kind of homemade stuff you would get from a café, but it still tastes good. The egg and bacon sarnies are to die for, a great student food stop, would recommend if you haven’t got too much time, or money for that matter!
