Wimbledon Station

Above average station which is easy to use! There is frequent trains to and from this station making it well connected.
I will continue using this station!

Wimbledon Station is an important transport hub encompassing rail, tube and tram services. It is very much a work in progress, having changed many times over the past few years. Some of the changes are for the better (improved retail including Paperchase and Upper Crust) and some are to the detriment. A spate of suicides have led to ugly fencing at platform level which gives the impression that you’re in a rat run. Also, the delightful wooden waiting room has been replaced by a functional, characterless one. But overall, the station is a good one although it would benefit from a clock on the over-​bridge above the platforms.
