Hairport

i first stumbled across Hairport whilst meaninglessly mentioning needing my mop chopped to a butty. ‘Go to Hairport!’ the friend suggested so not one to go against the grain or grey (he he) off i took myself to the middle of Merthyr High street and entered one of the nicest salons i’ve ever been in.
Blue outside and über trendy in, Hairport is one of the top notch salons in not just Merthyr Tydfil but the The Valleys and i’d even be brave enough to say the whole of Wales.
Staff are super trendy and surprisingly super friendly (you don’t get that many places) They do exactly what you want and are very specific in making sure they understand what you want.
OK it is pricey, but as one of the stylists said to me once, ‘You wear your hair everyday, surely you cant put a price on it!’ Which, i’ll be honest made me feel better about handing over my weeks wages.
Colouring stylists are spot on and have yet to get it wrong with me so far. You will need to book slightly in advance, but there is an option to do it via the website! Go Technology!
