Beacons place is an arcade shopping centre that links Merthyr Tydfil town centre to tesco and is located from the bottom end of tesco and comes out opposite WHSmith. The shopping arcade is painted all white and has white tiles on the floor, also has steps and a ramp for access into the town. Brecon Beacons have a few shops inside including, Priceless shoes, a nail bar, chinese herb shop, purfume shop, MKone, Clarks, The princapality bank, a café, an army recrutiment centre, a lottery booth, a greetings card shop and a gamestation. It is always clean in the area and gets quite busy as everyone parks in Tesco and walks through there to get to the town centre.
