Nice restaurant. Service was okay, we saw other staff more than our waitress but still good service. Meal was really quick and quite good. My father raved on the Sunday Roast and the Strongbow Cider. Nice place to visit! Kid friendly.

Had lunch there yesterday. I had the steak and bombadier ale pie, looked nice– no more than pastry with so called slimey meat inside, mash was ok
partner had fish and chips, sent first one back, it was all batter which was cremated-​spot the fish
second one arrived tasteless and chewy.
Needless to say we left our meals and went
waiting times were 50mins to an hour

family pub with kids fun area so as for food i think you know what im about to
is a 2 for 1 meal pub so thats a plus point i suppose. the pub itself seems alittle tired n grubby but its
for food well when it did arrive mixed grill for me and it took 35mins and there were only 6 tables
wasnt really worth the wait but it was i suppose totally as i expected it to be tastless and warm.
sum it up its ok for the kids and i think its not bad for the money but i wont be rushing back in a hurry!!!

ideal pub if you fancy a cheap meal out as they offer a two for one deal on their main meals. the seat is really tasty aswell which was surprising. service can be a bit slow though at the weekend.
