Peli Beers

Peli Beers is a partner of the wonderful Peli Deli (see Unilocalings) in the picturesque spa town of Matlock, about 30 miles outside of Manchester. This beautiful countryside town, well deserving of a day-​trip visit, is lined with gorgeous local pubs, shops and cafes, and the two Peli establishments should definitely be counted amongst them.
While Peli Deli serves coffees, cakes and unbelievable milkshakes, this is a vendor of the other local specialty, great British ales. The selection is amazing. They have an ale for everyone, from thick black beers for local Derbyshire old-​men, to fruity ales for the girls, and golden pale ales for those who usually prefer lager. In fact, they do sell a few lagers too, that you probably haven’t heard of, and most of these are worth trying too.
Considering the specialist nature of the beers you’ll be buying, the prices are pretty good too. Bottles of ale are just over a quid, and in the case of some of the stronger beers, you wont need more than one of two.
A really nice place, for beer lovers and for those just interested in the local culture. A must visit if you’re in Matlock.
